Storm stops train

I just read the following in my daily CNN News roundup:

"A storm carrying the threat of heavy snow for the Northeast coated a wide
swath of the East Coast in ice Tuesday, stopping trains, closing schools and
courts, and knocking out electricity to a quarter-million people."

Hmmmm.....I know what they mean, but I've got this visual of a storm blowing so hard it actually STOPS a train. Or slams a school door shut. I think better wording is in order.....anybody else? Posted by Jinglelady at January 28, 2004 01:05 PM | Previous Blog | TrackBack
