Work permit, part 2

I went back in this morning with the completed paperwork from yesterday. The wait was even shorter today, and the lady was almost decent. She took the paper work, said if it's approved, my work permit will be mailed to my office. I can call on Tuesday to see if it was approved or denied. Until then, I'm not supposed to work.

I went to the office and told this to my HR boss. He said that, if I wanted to, I could sit at my desk, of my own free will of course, and look at some things and they wouldn't stop me. Told the same thing to my immediate boss and he said "Ha ha, witzig. Zu diese Thema dass wir haben gestern gesprochen.....". Auf Englisch, "Ha ha, funny. About those things we talked about last night....". So, of my own free will, while visiting my colleagues, and checking email and websites, I gave then some hints about how to debug a couple of processes. All while not working. Until about 8pm.
