Oy! to the World
A couple of years ago, I heard about this Christmas album on NPR.
Oy! to the World by the Klezmonauts. It's the oddest Christmas music - Jewish Klezmer meets traditional Christmas music. I LOVE this album. It's part of my staple of Christmas music now. A Hebrew version of Jingle Bells, an oboe Good King Wincelelos (sp?), and a very lively tune called "Santa, Gey Gesunderheit (Go in Peace)". Lovely music, funny, and spirited. You can download samples at the website linked above. Enjoy!
