It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!
Yesterday Bill and his son came up to Frankfurt to visit me! Yea! :) We were thinking of walking around the Christmas market a little and then coming back to my house. However, William was a little sick the night before and still wasn't quite feeling himself. So we went straight to my house. Bill and William were SUCH a help to me. They both cleaned up the leaves off my porch from the vine and then they cleaned up the vine so that it's now just on the railing, not going crazy between the railings! William was a real big help putting the Christmas tree together and putting the lights on it. Then while he relaxed and watched my one DVD (Hudson Hawk), Bill and I put the ornaments on the tree and put lights in the windows.
After this, I made Chex mix and all three of us went down to the river to feed the ducks and swans bread. Those ducks are greedy! I'm used to swans being meaner - based on my experience with swans at the corporate park where Peterson's was located for years. These three were actually pretty even tempered. They only goosed the ducks if they were directly underneath them. :)
Finally, we did go back down to the Christmas market to walk around long enough to get a crepe and a fruity alcholic warm drink (pictures of the booth to appear soon on Fotolog!). Then Bill and William had to return home via train.
It was so nice having both of them up here to help me put up my decorations and start the festive season with me! I really can't express how nice that was. Thanks you two!
