American Idol in NYC

My friend Lisa went to the tryouts for American Idol in NYC this last weekend. She got an audition, but was unfortunately turned down. She has a good voice, but when you're competing against 10,000+ other people, it's got to be a hard competition! Apparently she had a really great time hanging out with people in the line and living on the street in NYC waiting for her turn.

Hey, I just had an idea - I'll write her and ask if she'd like to write up her experience and post it here on my blog. She could be a "guest blogger". Cool. I'm sure she's got a lot of stories about the experience.
