Funny story Today I stopped
Funny story
Today I stopped for an ice cream while I waited for the S-bahn. As I'm handing the guy my money, I notice he's looking at me strangely with a bit of a smile, so I said "Was?" He said "Your t-shirt", laughed, and asked who made it. I replied "
insolvenz2002.de". He thought it was a great shirt - in general, most Germans think it's a really funny shirt. As I walked away, I noticed he continued looking at the shirt with a smile.
Background: I wore my Insolvenz 2002 tshirt today. It's got a cute falling stock market logo and lists names of major corporations that went bankrupt in 2002 on the back - Fairchild Dornier being one of them. For those who don't know, FD was my last company, and they went bankrupt two months after I joined them. The government tried proping it up for awhile (they might still be trying for all I know), but I finally left the company 6 months later. Many many companies have gone insolvent in the last two years. In fact, there is also an
insolvenz2003.de!
