Update on clothes adventure: I've

Update on clothes adventure: I've found a store that carries my sizes, same price as skinny twit clothes, and fashionable! And amazing enough, it's H&M!!! Went in there 15 min before the store closed today and saw some interesting things that I'll have to go back tomorrow at lunch time to properly investigate.

I spent the weekend with Bill & his son. Ok, I know some of you have questions so I'll answer them right up front. Bill is 44 and his son is 8. Yes, I like Bill a lot. I love him. No, I have no idea where this is going. We're having fun. I feel very comfortable with him - comfortable in a sexy fun way, not a boring fuddy duddy way. Ok? That's it.

So anyway, we went to Kid Zone and played some games there, and Saturday evening we went Cosmic Bowling. That was cool because I'd never played Cosmic Bowling before. His son got a little moody when Bill & I got a total of three strikes within the first two frames though. After the first game, Daddy and son went off to play video games while I played for all three of us (my thumb hurts now!). When they came back at the 6th frame, his son had two strikes and a spare! He ended the game with a 110, 11 pins ahead of his dad! He was in a much better mood then. :)

Sunday we went on base to have breakfast at the Enlisted Officers club. Ah, an American breakfast. With real waffles and eggs and biscuits, and sausages, and ...and...and. Oh, was I full. After noon we went to a schwimmbad (swimming pool) where I worked off some of the food by actually swimming a couple of laps before joining Bill and his son on the water slide and the warm salt water pool outside. Ah, Germans know how to build swimming pool recreation areas. Turns out that it's because they've outlawed personal swimming pools (too much chlorine - bad for the environment), but they're really nice anyway. Nearly every one of them has a sauna too.

Sunday late afternoon we bought and planted flowers for Bills balcony. I bought a couple too and brought them home. I've bought one of those cool fuchia and pink hanging bulb flower plants that I really like. We'll see if I can keep this one alive. So far, so good. :)

Okay, I thought of a couple of other things to put up during the day, but of course I can't remember them now. Eh, it'll come to me. Tschuss. Posted by Jinglelady at April 28, 2003 09:31 PM | Previous Blog | TrackBack
