Oh, just realized I haven't

Oh, just realized I haven't updated the apartment search story lately.

I found an apartment in the neighboring city, directly in the center (but a quiet area), within my budget, nice ammenities, and w/o the real estate agent fee! I signed the contract a week ago and it's mine starting the 1st of the new year. In fact, I'm meeting the landlord tomorrow to go over the apartment one last time before I move in.
