My colleague just sort of

My colleague just sort of chewed me out for speaking German on the phone (it's not good German, I keep mixing up du and Sie and not using the correct words).... I need to ask the person if they speak English. Okay, that's a bit embarrasing. Even more so since he's not really my boss, he's a colleague and he was stating an opinion in that 'This is just my opinion (but you should really do this)' kind of way. And he's right. Ug. So, I'm not going to answer the phone anymore...they aren't really calling me anyway....they're calling the person who was here before.

On top of that, I'm not sure, but I think my right contact is in backwards. I can see okay with it, but it just doesn't feel right. But then, it's only my second day with them, so maybe it's because of that.
