sigh...I have a break and

sigh...I have a break and an internet connect...whew.

Soooo... this last week has been spent settling in to my new job and new temporary apartment.

My only adventures this week were 1) trying to find a grocery store in the area (I found them yesterday when everything was closed because of the German Reunification Day -- very helpful) and 2) getting stuck behind two Japanese businessmen who were perusing the sex shops. I was returning from a small Turkish grocery store just past the sex shops and they were slowly walking by and looking in each store. The owners were very bold about openly enticing them inside -- one even used a microphone! I hurried past them. Note to self: Do not return to that area anytime near darkness.

I am returning to Munich this weekend to pack and go to Oktoberfest for the last time this year. I promise to catch up on my stories this weekend when I can do so from my home connection. Posted by Jinglelady at October 4, 2002 01:38 PM | Previous Blog | TrackBack
