Interesting story of the day:

Interesting story of the day:

I locked myself out of my internet connection at home because I've forgotten my password, and tried to change it. This was last Thursday. On Friday, I call up T-Online, my isp, and explain the situation (auf Deutsch even!) and they explain that I need to write a letter or fax them, and when they get it, 2-3 business days later I will receive a letter with my new password. Wha??! Okay, fine. So I fax it....but the fax number is wrong. So I call back, get a different fax number and fax again. I think it's gone through, but I'm not sure. The fax machine didn't print a confirmation.

Yesterday I tried calling back to see if they've received it. I'm given another number to call. It's busy. And again this morning. Finally around lunch I got through.....get this: the guy tells me, "Well, if the fax was working correctly, yes, we got it." Okay, but can you check your systems?? "Okay, I transfer you".....dial tone, music, operator (auf Deutsch) "All of our operators are busy at this moment. Please be patient and try back again later." Disconnect. Arggghhhh!!!

This is German customer service for you. And the number is still busy. Posted by Jinglelady at September 18, 2002 04:41 PM | Previous Blog | TrackBack
