Last night I went to see the movie Was das Herzt Begehrt (Something's Gotta Give). I'm trying to see a couple of movies in German a month. Something light, so I don't have to worry if I miss the meaning or not. Really, I'm getting 90-95% of the meanings, and I pick the rest up by context.
This movie was surprisingly very good! I expected Jack Nicholson's character to be a typical older playboy. He starts off that way, but then his character grows and is more sympathic and real. The movie is by turns funny, tender, and sappy. All in all, very good. A lot better than I expected.
