My friend Erik took the original of the photo in my header and came up with a cleaner, nicer end product. I promptly posted it above, replacing the other one I created with my own VERY rudimentary Photoshop skills. That old photo must have been bugging him, because he volunteered to do it, I never asked. Nice of him, don't you think?
Then he gave me tips for reducing the washed out portions of Emilie's photo below. I went to work right away, so I posted the photo below before the last of his tips came in. Well, it gives me something else to practice on later. ;) So you might see an improved version of that photo again later.
Off to bed. I should have been starting to prepare for my trip on Thursday, but I spent all night on my blog (can't you tell?). Well, I'm not known for doing things last minute for nothing!
