I ordered new glasses last week and picked them up today. See photo below. They aren't something I would have personally picked out, but I am very happy that the Optomitrist talked me into something different. He wanted me to go much bolder and dominant, but I'm happy with these.
I can highly recommend Fielmann in Offenbach if anybody needs glasses. They are highly professional and very nice. I walked in two minutes before closing this evening and I did not get the impression that I was imposing on them and they were honestly nice and even did last minute adjustments on the glasses. Hey, and one of them is a friend of Stefan's.
Now my eyes just have to adjust to being able to see clearly again. It is truly amazing how clear and crisp everything looks. I figure I'll have a headache in an hour or two. :)

Posted by: Amanda at April 21, 2004 03:17 PMHi Amanda - thanks! I like them a lot too. And they're transition lenses, so they get dark when I go into bright UV light. That happened a couple of time today, but I didn't notice it until somebody else said something. Pretty cool.

Just remember that it takes some time after you go inside for the lens to change back - don't have your picture taken until they go back or you look like you still have sunglasses on.
