I have baby fishies! I saw at least five of them this evening. They're small, but not newborn small which means they were born sometime in the last two-three days. Which also means I probably flushed/watered my plants with a few of them while I was cleaning the tank yesterday.
How was I supposed to know a mommy would decide to have babies finally? I've had fat female fish - at least three - for months now! I mean 2-3 months. I read that these guppies have a gestation of 28-40 days, so that's plenty of time to give birth.
I tried to take photos Mom, but they're not turning out. Lots of crisp clear fish tank rocks and blurred water/indistinct fish. Sorry.
