Happy New Year Everybody! I'm in NJ now, visiting with Bill & his family.
Bill & I rang in the New Year "down the shore" in Atlantic City. We had a lovely dinner in the Historic Smithville Inn and then went out on the boardwalk for the actual New Years count down. Right at midnight Bill turned me to him and asked "Do you promise to love me forever?" Yes! "Will you look after my little boy?" Yes! A few other silly loving questions later, he got down on one knee and said "Well then, will you be my wife?"
Yes yes yes yes!!! YES!
I'm engaged! We're engaged! We're in love & we're happy & we'll be together for a very long time. :-)
Pictures have been been taken of me, Bill & the ring (very lovely, very nice). However, I can't download & upload it here, so I'll do that later. Maybe tomorrow from Janine's.

Sorry I'm not getting to this until now. I was away from any computers from Sunday morning until Monday night, and today I was busting my butt to get a project for a possible new job (!) done before tomorrow's deadline.
I'm incredibly happy for you. Bill seems like the kind of guy you deserve ... loving, caring, understanding.
