I downloaded my photos last night, and after sending this photo to my mom (who's been itching to see it), I now present to the world my engagement ring:
I've promised Mom a better close-up later. It's very pretty - one diamond in the middle of a band of several smaller diamonds. I'm very happy with Bill's choice & can't stop looking at it. I am so in love with my fiance! (I have to keep training myself to call Bill my fiance instead of my boyfriend. LOL!)
As I did not called my wife "meine Verlobte" (my fiancée) but "meine Freundin" (my girlfriend) even when we were engaged, I had to correct myself everytime I talked about her in the first weeks of our marriage.
I was always saying "... meine Freundin -äh- meine Frau" (my girlfriend -er- my wife)...
Oh, before I forget (to tell the truth: I _did_ already forget after I first read about your engagement): CONGRATULATIONS! :)

Oh, and Lili, I'm catching up myself! I haven't really read or responded to ANY blog in 2 weeks. Something about vacation, travelling, one computer to share amongst 4 people, and getting engaged (yea!) just put a damper on that. :-)
