Shooting up

I just saw, for the first time in my life, junkies shooting up on the street. It's disturbed me a bit.

Now, I know junkies shoot up and I know junkies like to hang around the bank on the corner (my bank). I've even seen crackheads lighting their little pipes in the subway stairwell corners and furtively smoking them.

But to see another junkie swab anothers neck down and then stick a needle in it while yet a third watches....that's something else. All in bright daylight in the middle of the street right in front of the bank.

It's disturbed me.

Make sure you tell Joe to stay away from that area. He plans to bring his rollar blades; so he will have something to do while you are at work.

You should have called the cops right away. There are safe places where junkies can shoot up. Those who shoot up in residential areas in plain sight of pedestrians have lost their last shred of dignity. These people need help but at the same time it needs to be made perfectly clear that this kind of disgusting behaviour cannot be accepted at any time. Call the cops and also talk to your Kontaktbereichsbeamter (police officer who is responsible for your area) so that your neighbours might benefit, too.
