New home for the fishies

The fishies have a new home as of tonight. One of Stefan's family friends agreed to take them over, so we emptied the tank mostly out, put it in his car and drove them to their new "Zuhause". They are going to be very happy there. Their new mama is loads better at keeping the tank clean than I am and they have lots of new brothers and sisters to play with. :) It's going to be a LOT quieter here for the next couple of weeks.

On the way over to their new house, we drove through a couple of the littler towns around here. They're really pretty! They're right on the water, lots of country air, and not far from me at all. Well, not far with a car. And to cross the river we used a ferry. That was soo cool! I'm definitely going to drive back through these roads again when my brother comes. We'll have a rental car a couple of times - go out and shot some photos of the country side and ride the ferry. Really, that little ferry ride was so much fun. Yes, I'm easily impressed. :)

By the time Joe gets there the place will seem empty. We tried to make it homey while we were there.

Why don't you post the pictures of your couch, Papasan, and whatever else you have to sell. Lots of people read your blog.

Thank you Stefan for finding a new home for the fishes!

So where is this place with the ferry?

:) I used one of those ferry's once going home from Frankfurt. Yeah, something new :)and neat. I think it crossed the Rhein just east of Russelsheim. Lots of little towns and the ferry was in the middle of a village with about 8 farm homes. I was suprised that they could collect toll from all of the cars before we made the short crossing.
