I've found an excellent position with an up and coming small investment program company here in the Dallas area. I'll have an opportunity to do some analysis, some development, some data model development/re-enginneering AND DBA backup duties. Before the DBA backup duties can really come into play though, I have to really bone up on that information. Which I will do partly by reading before I start (beg. Oct.) and mostly on the job. This is an EXCELLENT opportunity for me. And it's not that far from our house. Yea! Yippee!!
