Shamrock Bookmark

I was reading tonight and decided I needed a bookmark for myself. I made some Christmas-y ones in December, but I gave them all away. So this one is for myself!

I'm not quite sure why the tail is curling and I know some things I'll do differently next time I make the pattern, but all in all, I'm very happy with it!

This is the pattern. Oddly enough, the pattern says to make a 6 in stem, but that's not what their photo has. And it just wouldn't look right. So I did something longer than what their photo shows, but shorter than 6 in.

I used size 8 thread and a size 6 hook for this. Smallest hook I've used yet!

Oh, I thought about posting this in the Thread CAL, but I didn't make this for that, just for myself.
