My Serephina Shawl - Start

When I went to visit Marvie in Stuttgart a couple of weekends ago, I bought some pretty teal yarn to make myself Seraphina’s Shawl. Well today I started on it and I'm sooo pleased with how it's turning out! I wasn't sure if I should do solid stripes, or what, but I ended up deciding to hold two strands together, and do a stripes of light teal & beige, dark teal & beige, and light & dark teal. I think it's turning out awesome!

The remote control is just for scale:

oh I think that is going to look so gorgeous! Does already. I still want to make myself one of these shawls, but haven't taken the time to do the start of it. Keep us posted on its progress.

Thanks Jewels, Marvie, and Gina! I did a few more rows last night and I'm in love with it! Itching to work on it more! Unfortunately work gets in the way - have to pay for the yarn habit. ;-)

Your shawl is very, very pretty!

What kind of yarn did you use?
